Borrowers aged 16 and over are charged fines on borrowed items returned after their due date.
Unpaid fines and items not returned after notification has been sent to a borrower will enter ‘Default’ status.
If left unpaid these charges will eventually be passed on to a debt recovery service and incur an additional administrative charge of £10 and the borrowers card will be suspended from use.
