Description:
Event DetailsHave you ever wondered what adventures lurk within the chapters of someone's life? Well, our Human Library is popping up for the first time, in September and you're invited to "check out" real humans instead of the books and share in the laughter, wisdom, and unexpected tales they bring! There will be people as "Books" and others as "Readers".
The books will have a specific topic, area of expertise or personal interest that they will dive into with the reader and the reader can ask questions, dive deeper and generally gather a new perspective of this specific point of view. There is a wide variety of what you can consider your topic - this could be background, career, genre, interest, director, artist, specific film, gardening, belief, space, etc etc etc, it's really just a way for us all to share new perspectives and hear about things we may never have known before. The purpose isn't to replicate a coffee and chat morning but instead focus on exploring new perspectives and exciting viewpoints about topics we may know little about. Join us, for one night. Become the book. Become the reader. Be part of our Human Library.
