Event DetailsAgatha Christie is associated with Ealing in many ways and this talk discusses them. Her ‘auntie-grannie’ lived in Ealing and Agatha often visited her. This lady was also the inspiration for Miss Marple. She, and Agatha’s parents and sister were buried in Ealing Cemetery. Ealing and Hanwell are mentioned in several of Agatha’s stories and in one Poirot even visits Ealing. Finally David Suchet who played Poirot once lived in the borough as does another leading actor from the TV series.
